Mr Beatnick's brand new cosmic imprint Mythstery Records proudly presents its debut release! Breakplus is a an old friend and collaborator of Mr Beatnick - the pair released their first hip-hop record "The Time Machine" way back in 2005, under the moniker "Thieves Of Time". "Instant Bull" is a celebration of Anatolian Rock history, which marries the funky source material with some deft sampling skills. 7 tracks long, it's a hazy ride - partly a beat-tape, partly a mini-album - balancing mellow grooves for home listening with a trio of left-side club cuts - from heady psych rock to Turkish disco.

Collaborators on the record include a spoken word intro by Turkish chanteuse Ahu Kelesoglu (singer of Flying Lotus's "Roberta Flack", Mr Beatnick's "I Know All The B*****", and Paul White's "To:Love" on One Handed Music), flute player Ben Hadwen (sessionist with the likes of Metro Area, Soundway records & Emanative) and keyboardist Guy Benton aka Guynamite (Twin Cities, Boglewaltz, Mukatsuku records). The artwork and sleeve come courtesy of Optigram, the man behind the visual side of Hyperdub, Don't Be Afraid and many more. Strictly limited to 300 copies on wax, this is one for the beat diggers, old-school break collectors, and fans of oddball disco edits - and anyone looking to add a sprinkle of psychedelic sumac to their DJ sets.
